Job Description

• The key purpose of this job is to provide an overall Electrical Engineering Maintenance Service to the brewery, thereby, enabling production to be optimized at a minimum cost to provide an electrical workshop service to the entire site.
• Is the responsible person for the integrity and reliability of high voltage i.e. 11kv where it comes into the plant through transformers, switch gear and associated installations.

Key roles and Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment:

• Comply with safe, healthy & environmental procedures and legislations
• Maintain safety & housekeeping standards.

Maintain and repair plant and associated devices:

• Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation and or systems
• Plan and prepare the job
• Carry out repairs / maintenance • Operate workshop equipment.

Work in Teams:

• Communicate effectively in teams
• Contribute to self and team development.

Work Orders Complete:

• Backlog
• Satisfied customers – no rework
• Coordinates planned work with municipality electrical departments.

Health, Safety and Environment:

• Identification of unsafe practices
• Safety inspections conducted
• Safe maintenance practices audited

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:

• Trade test qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Certificated in high voltage installations and maintenance
• 3 - 5 years in FMCG experience
• 1-3 Years technical mechanical/electrical and entire brewery experience in a leadership capacity in a FMCG environment.

Key attributes and competencies:

• Brewing, Utilities & Packaging maintenance workshop experience.
