Job Title: Auditor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Responsibilities
Examine financial statements:

• Review and analyze financial records, reports, and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.

Conduct audits:

• Perform internal and external audits to assess financial processes, identify risks, and ensure that controls are effective.

Assess financial operations:

• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of financial procedures, and recommend improvements where necessary.

Ensure compliance:

• Verify that the organization is adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Prepare audit reports:

• Document findings, create detailed audit reports, and present them to management, providing clear recommendations for improvement.

Investigate discrepancies:

• Identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial records and investigate their causes.

Collaborate with departments:

• Work closely with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate reporting.

Monitor internal controls:

• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and suggest enhancements to reduce risk.

Stay updated on regulations:

• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization's financial practices.

Support external auditors:

• Assist external auditors during the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
