Job Title: Deputy Manager, Electrical - Cement Industry

Job Description

• To follow top management instruction and plan / Execute the jobs accordingly. In additional to that Ensure the Equipment availability on allotted Sections in the plant by following proper preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and spares maintenance.
• Provide the Electrical maintenance support to allotted production area to get maximum efficiency.
• Equipment list to be prepared for the allotted sections.
• 52 Weeks Preventive maintenance planner to be prepared.
• Condition monitoring plan to roll out.
• Greasing schedule for all required equipment’s to be rolled out.
• Co-coordinating with concern production or operation department to know the stoppage planning and execute the preventive maintenance and to be Recorded.
• All critical major equipment’s ensure special care in place.
• Solving day to day Problems in plant operation.
• Spares planning and procurement in the given section to be well taken care.
• All improvement jobs to be listed out and on criticality basis execution to be planned and implementation to be ensured on estimated time frame.
• Energy Audit to be planned on regular intervals and gaps to be identified and correction to be taken accordingly.
• Stoppage Analysis to be carried out for day to day equipment breakdowns and action plan to be made to overcome the same in the future.
• Prepare SOP / OPL / GTF / DO’s and Don’ts / KYE / Visual Markings on the designated areas.
• Time to time awareness classes on safety, operation and maintenance to be organized for their section colleagues.
• On job training to be planned for all critical jobs and to be executed on regular basis.
• Bottleneck in their particular section to be identified and elevated to their top management on timely basis.
• Motor overhauling history to be recorded and maintain for future reference purposes.
• Earth pit resistance value to be check and register once in a year.
• Lightning Arrestor working condition to be ensured twice in a year.
• ELCB operating condition to be ensured twice in a year.
• Emergency power evacuation plan to be prepared for their allotted section and action plan to made accordingly to manage the situation.
• Ensure compliance of all electrical equipment in accordance with DCP/local safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head, Electrical Maintenance.
• Oversee technical staffs in the performance of their duties and provide expertise as required.
• Enforce accident prevention and occupational health work procedures and regulations.
• Proffer solutions to solve electrical problems to ensure optimization of equipment reliability.
• Ensure safekeeping of materials, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of post-qualification experience; seven (7) of which must have been spent doing related work
• Good knowledge of cement products and cement manufacturing processes
• Expert knowledge of maintenance management methods, of predictive inspection tools and SAP.
• Extensive knowledge electrical engineering.
• Good knowledge of safety legislation and rules
• Good knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and TPM
• Good oral and written communication skills.
