Job Summary

• This post requires the most suited candidate to have excellent multi-tasking, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of the industry and related finances.
• Specific day-to-day tasks depend on this position, bearing in mind that experience in managing leaders and people is a crucial asset.

Primary Responsibilities

• Achieving Budgeted results by driving growth in market share with appropriate strategy, identifying and en-cashing niche markets, building farmers trust and brand equity with extensive extension activities and implementing innovative marketing techniques to keep ahead of competition.
• Expanding the crop protection segment with new solutions, venturing into other segments of the input market like Fertilizers, seeds, and other inputs. Exploring neighboring countries' potentials.
• Provide leadership and direction to the team by designing appropriate performance management systems to nurture and retain talents to build a robust deliverable team for sustained performance year after year.
• Resist and prevent value appropriation in the whole value chain with most suitable channel management, driving cost efficiencies, fast turnaround and complying with established internal control systems and external registration requirements.
• Provide market intelligence, changing trends and insights to support decision making by CEO and Board Members.
• Organize the activities of the technical partner and make sure that all milestones and roles & duties of the technical partner under the technical partnership agreement are adhered to
• In charge for the documentation of all required policies and operational procedures to guide all the processes undertaken on the farm
• In charge for developing an effective organizational structure for the farm
• Oversee all aspects of production process on the farm and In charge for the achievement of agreed production targets within the stipulated timeline
• In charge for securing a long-term supply contracts with identified partners
• Liaise with operations in ensuring that appropriate level of feed inventory and other raw materials and spare parts are maintained on the farm at all time
• Lead the expansion activities of the company
• Lead all Research and development initiatives of the company
• Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the board of directors
