We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Microbiologist / Compliance Manager - NNEFM

Location: Nigeria

Puepose of the Job

• Responsible for ensuring compliance/ implementation and maintenance of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems as well as ensuring that products, site, personnel, and process conforms to microbiology standards.

The Job

• Implement and maintain Quality and Food Safety Management Systems, continuously improving their effectiveness.
• Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, equipment, personnel, and the environment to ensure compliance with standards.
• Review process documentation to verify conformance with Quality and Food Safety Management System requirements.
• Analyze incoming packaging materials, ensuring COAs are received and deviations are promptly escalated and resolved.
• Identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develop and implement corrective action plans, and provide guidance on preventive actions.
• Perform site GMP and hygiene audits, implement corrective actions to address identified non-conformities.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for operatives to meet quality and food safety standards.
• Plan and execute internal and supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Inspect and validate the cleaning of bins and other milling and packing equipment.
• Function as the QMS Site Coordinator and Food Safety Team Leader, ensuring effective management and coordination.
• Report all FMN Lifesaving Rules Violations and Behavioral-Based Safety issues to the Safety Department.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Accounting or related field
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIA is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medium-sized manufacturing organization, FMCG or audit firm.

The Person Must:

• Have an excellent verbal and written communication skill.
• Be able to work in fast-paced environment
• Pay high attention to details.
