They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job objectives

  • We are seeking for a results-driven Business Development Executive with at least 3 years of experience in driving business growth and client acquisition.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and strategically expanding the company’s market presence in the insurance brokerage industry.
  • You will play a critical role in increasing revenue streams while collaborating with senior management to achieve business goals.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the insurance sector, targeting both individual and corporate clients.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, leveraging your industry network and prospecting techniques.

Market Expansion & Strategic Growth:

  • Lead initiatives to penetrate untapped markets, identifying opportunities for the company’s insurance products and services in both local and regional markets.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and industry innovations to strategically position the company as a market leader.

Sales Strategy & Business Planning:

  • Develop, implement, and refine sales plans and business development strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare detailed proposals, sales presentations, and bids to pitch the company’s services to new and existing clients.
  • Work closely with senior management to align business development efforts with the company’s overall growth objectives and to identify emerging business opportunities.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business development strategies that lead to measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, services, and brokerage operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
