Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Lagos

Description 

• The Site Manager will oversee and coordinate building construction projects on site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Other responsibilities that will help achieve this include:

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate building construction projects on site.
• Manage project timelines and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate and manage site personnel, including contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.
• Monitor and provide weekly reports on project progress, costs, and quality, including tracking progress against project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members, including architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, including coordinating and managing site inspections and audits.
• Work with the HSE personnel to ensure site safety and implement site-specific safety plans.
• Manage site logistics, including materials, equipment, and waste management.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in building construction projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering building construction projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Skills:

• Experience in site building construction and managing construction site.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to architecture and construction.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to construction sites and project locations as needed.
