Job Description

• We are seeking skilled and creative Script Writers to transform research insights into engaging and impactful scripts for YouTube and other content formats.
• As a Script Writer, you will collaborate with our research team to craftscripts that resonate with our target audience - African, Black, and African American communities in the US, UK, and Canada.
• The ideal candidate will have a knack for storytelling, making complex information relatable and easy to understand.
• You’ll create content that reflects the company’s values, aligns with our strategic goals, and connects deeply with our audience across all sister companies under Tolulope Michael Holdings, including ExcelMindCyber, Credit Veto, Lightforth, and VeriPass.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the research team to convert market insights, data, and trends into compelling YouTube scripts and other content formats.
• Craft engaging, clear, and relatable scripts that simplify complex topics, such as cybersecurity, financial literacy, career development, and immigration services.
• Tailor content to resonate with African, Black, and African American audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and authenticity.
• Ensure scripts align with the business goals of each sister company (ExcelMindCyber, Credit Veto, Lightforth, VeriPass), creating value-driven content that addresses audience pain points.
• Develop catchy hooks, clear messaging, and well-structured content that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish.
• Create other content scripts as needed, such as promotional videos, website content, and marketing campaigns, all based on research-driven insights.Stay updated on content trends, particularly within YouTube and other video platforms, and adjust writing styles to fit platform-specific best practices.
• Work with designers and video editors to ensure scripts come to life visually and effectively.

Key Content Areas Include:

• Career transition and cybersecurity training for non-IT professionals (ExcelMindCyber)
• Financial literacy and credit repair guidance (Credit Veto)
• Job preparation and AI-powered learning tools (Lightforth)
• Visa application insights and O-1 visa opportunities (VeriPass).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a script writer, content writer, or in a related creative writing role.
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to make technical or complex topics easy to understand and engaging.
• Ability to tailor content to the interests, behaviors, and challenges of African,
• Black, and African American communities in the US, UK, and Canada.
• Experience writing for YouTube or other video platforms, with a deep understanding of how to write for video.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with research teams to ensure content reflects key insights and business goals.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality scripts on time.
