Job Summary

• As our Inventory Officer, you'll be responsible for managing the company's inventory of materials and equipment.
• This includes procurement, receiving, distribution, and monitoring stock levels to ensure that the construction projects have the necessary supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring that purchases are made at the best possible prices and meet quality standards.
• Oversee the receipt of materials and equipment, verifying quantities and quality.
• Inspect incoming materials for defects and damage.
• Monitor stock levels of materials and equipment to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Develop and maintain inventory records.
• Place purchase orders for materials and equipment as needed.
• Coordinate the distribution of materials and equipment to construction sites.
• Ensure that materials are delivered to the correct locations and in a timely manner.
• Track the movement of materials and equipment to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Prepare regular inventory reports for management, including stock levels, usage rates, and any variances.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Implement measures to minimize wastage or overuse of materials on-site.
• Monitor material usage and identify areas where improvements can be made.

Qualifications

• BSc/HND in any relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of materials and equipment used in construction.
• Certification in inventory management.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
