Overview

• We are seeking a skilled Accounts Officer with expertise in tax and audit.
• The successful candidate will ensure compliance with tax regulations, conduct internal audits, and maintain accurate financial records.
• This role is vital for upholding financial accuracy and supporting the company’s growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
• Conduct internal audits to verify financial accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain and reconcile financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and bank statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support external audits and provide guidance on tax and financial compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on tax and audit.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• Experience in the construction or maintenance industry is an advantage.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / month.
