We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Outlet Manager

Locations: Lagos, Delta and Edo
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • The Outlet Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned outlet.
  • This role involves managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, optimizing sales performance, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • The Outlet Manager will also work to create a positive customer experience and ensure the outlet runs efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the outlet, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure the outlet opens and closes on time, with all facilities prepared for smooth operations.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering stock as needed and managing waste to minimize loss.
  • Maintain outlet cleanliness, organization, and presentation in line with company standards.

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase sales and customer retention.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer feedback and sales trends to make informed business decisions.

Staff Management:

  • Hire, train, and supervise outlet staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and standards.
  • Create staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
  • Motivate and develop staff, conducting performance reviews and providing feedback for growth.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Manage outlet budgets and control expenses to achieve profitability targets.
  • Handle daily cash flow, reconcile sales receipts, and prepare financial reports for the operations team.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure that the outlet complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with company policies, product quality, and legal requirements.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, staff performance, and operational issues.
  • Liaise with the regional or head office to report issues, concerns, or requests for support.

Job Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in retail or outlet management.
  • Experience managing teams, handling cash, and working with sales targets.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and retail management software.
  • Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to meeting customer needs.

Other Requirements:

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
