Job Summary

• We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team on a full-time basis.
• The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions, managing payments, and providing exceptional customer service.
• This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a positive outcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Transactions: Accurately process Petty cash, handle cash, and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.
• Payment Handling: Manage various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and ensure the proper handling of receipts and change.
• Balancing Cash Register: Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, and report any discrepancies.
• Record-Keeping: Ensure all transaction records and receipts are filed and maintained accurately.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the checkout area clean, and organized at all times.

Qualifications

• Ordinary Diploma or National Diploma (ND) in Accounting or a related field
• 3 years cogent experience as a cashier.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
