Overview

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fullstack DevOps Engineer & Development Team Lead to oversee a cross-functional development team while driving the implementation of DevOps practices.
• You will be responsible for leading development efforts, managing the team, and ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of our applications.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both fullstack development and DevOps, combined with leadership experience in guiding teams through the full software development lifecycle.
• Lead a team of front-end and back-end developers, providing technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, from project planning and technical design to deployment and support.
• Drive the adoption of Agile/Scrum methodologies within the development team, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, ensuring that applications are delivered efficiently and securely.
• Collaborate with the product management team to define project goals, prioritize tasks, and manage team workloads, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Write efficient and reusable code for both front-end (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Java) applications.
• Optimize DevOps practices by managing containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), monitoring application performance, and scaling resources as needed.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through regular code reviews, automated testing, and best practices for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and QA teams to ensure the seamless integration and deployment of new features.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, bottlenecks, and challenges that might impact team productivity or project timelines.
• Manage team performance, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous growth and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development and DevOps engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Strong experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Proficient in GitOps practices and version control systems (Git).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on improving team performance and delivery speed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Certification in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus (e.g., CSM, PSM).
• Experience across different industries including Fintech, Financial services, Edutech, Ecommerce, etc
