Job Title: Internal Auditor

Job Summary

• As our Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits of financial and operational activities within the company to ensure accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess operational processes, including project cost control, procurement, and contract management, to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Review financial records, statements, and transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.
• Identify potential risks related to construction projects, procurement, and resource allocation, and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks.
• Work closely with various departments, including finance, procurement, and project management, to ensure alignment with audit recommendations and follow-up on corrective actions.

Requirements

• BSc in a related field, a professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Experience in auditing construction projects, procurement processes, and contract management.
• Will be required to travel to Zamfara from time to time.

Salary
N380,000 - N450,000 per month.
