We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Zoo Tour Guide

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and educational tours around the zoo, providing detailed information about various animals, their habitats, and conservation efforts.
• Answer questions from visitors and share interesting facts about wildlife and the environment.
• Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all visitors by maintaining a friendly, helpful, and professional attitude.
• Assist in managing visitor groups, ensuring safety and adherence to zoo rules.
• Participate in special events, presentations, and activities hosted by the zoo.
• Assist with visitor feedback and provide information on zoo programs, memberships, and activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English; proficiency in local languages is an added advantage.
• Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays and special occasions.

Requirements:

• Strong passion for animals and wildlife conservation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak clearly and confidently in front of diverse groups.
• A friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable personality.
• Good physical stamina to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Prior experience in a similar role, customer service, or education is an advantage but not required.
• Knowledge of local wildlife is a plus.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
