About the Job

• A Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining and cleaning the swimming pools.
• Their job includes task such as cleaning pools, checking water chemicals, checking the equipment like pumps and filters and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

What will I be Doing?

• As a Pool Attendant you are responsible for maintaining the swimming pools. Your job includes task such as cleaning pools, checking water chemicals, checking the equipment like pumps and filters and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Specifically, a pool Technician will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Cleaning and vacuuming of pool water.
• Knowledge on how to dose pool chemicals.
• Execute the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained to the required standard.
• Assist in the implementation of energy conservation program.
• Be able to carry out backwashing of filters.
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition.
• Good communication skills.
• Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

• A certificate in a specialized field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Sciences, Refrigeration, Carpentry, or Plumbing, required.
• Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
• Experience in the Maintenance Department of a large hotel, hospital, ship, and/or restaurant complex or similar.
• Strong work ethic
• A passion for delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes.
• Experience 3 years
