Job Title: Director of Studies

Location: Ogun

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation and administration of all aspects of the academic programme.
• He or she will manage the teaching staff and their performance.

The role of the Director of Studies will incorporate the following, among others:

• Ensuring the school is positioned in line with national and global academic standards.
• Ensuring that high quality programme is delivered, following the syllabus/guidelines of the school.
• Promoting academic linkages between the school and other reputable international institutions.
• Observing and supporting teachers with a view to ensuring that their performance is of the highest possible standards and that the students continue to attain maximum benefits from their courses.
• Ensuring that lessons and activities are integrated to deliver holistic development.
• Ensuring safety and welfare of students and staff at all times.

Requirements

• Proven excellence in academic leadership
• Proven people management skills
• Masters level qualification (or equivalent) with at least 10 years teaching experience, and 3+ years managerial experience.
• Highly proactive and able to adapt quickly to change.
• Certification in Curriculum and Instruction.
• High level of integrity, credibility and dedication to the mission of a Christian school.
• Computer literacy.
