Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support our business operations.
• This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our beauty shop and helping us achieve our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Coordinate with salon management to compile fiscal information related to payroll, taxes, lease agreements, and other financial obligations.
• Implement effective cash flow management strategies to optimize resources and reduce costs.
• Assist in preparing for audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Advise management on financial decisions, budgeting, and best practices for operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tax codes, and regulatory changes that may impact the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role; experience in the beauty or service industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff at all levels.
