Job Title: Group Internal Auditor

Job Description

• We're seeking a seasoned Internal Auditor to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes within the group and its subsidiaries, safeguarding assets and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Role: Group Internal Auditor
• Reports to: Group Managing Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an internal audit strategy aligned with group objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Lead internal audit team, fostering accountability and high ethical standards.
• Conduct audits of financial transactions, operational processes, and IT systems.
• Provide recommendations for operational efficiency and risk mitigation. Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA, CISA, or similar certifications preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in internal auditing, with a strong understanding of Nigeria's oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with Nigerian regulatory requirements and international auditing standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary
N1,500,000 / month - N18,000,000 / Annually.
