Role Overview

• Are you passionate about empowering African women and girls? Do you have a flair for creating user-friendly, innovative, and engaging websites? Inspire Her Afrika is looking for a skilled Website Developer to join our team and help bring our vision to life online!
• We are seeking a dedicated Website Developer who can help us design, develop, and maintain our websites to reflect the mission and work of Inspire Her Afrika.
• Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and ensuring we can reach, inspire, and empower more women across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-friendly, responsive websites for Inspire Her Afrika.
• Collaborate with the communications team to ensure the website aligns with our brand, goals, and messaging.
• Implement features such as event pages, blogs, multimedia content, and donation platforms.
• Regularly update and maintain the website to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the site is always up and running.
• Analyze web traffic and improve user engagement.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 year experience.
• Proven experience in web development (front-end and back-end skills).
• Proficiency in web development tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, or other CMS).
• Experience with UI/UX design and mobile optimization.
• Strong understanding of website architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Passion for women’s empowerment and development is a plus
