We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Full Stack Web Developer

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• The Full Stack Web Developer will play a key role in building and maintaining our web platforms. You will be responsible for both the front-end and back-end aspects of web application development.
• This includes the design of user interactions on websites, developing servers and databases, and ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices.
• You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, responsive web applications.
• Implement front-end features using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Develop back-end services using server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, or PHP.
• Integrate with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across devices and platforms.

API Integration:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between systems.
• Integrate third-party APIs to enhance the functionality of web applications.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Work with project managers and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical insights.
• Regularly update the team on progress, potential challenges, and propose solutions.

Security & Performance Optimization:

• Ensure the security and integrity of the applications by implementing best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues in the code

Testing & Debugging:

• Conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality and security.
• Debug issues across the full stack and ensure proper fixes are implemented.

Requirements
Experience:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with agrotech or agricultural software solutions is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, PHP, or Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
