Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team.
• The primary function of this role will be to confirm and verify cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a keen interest in the cryptocurrency market.

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Verification: Review and confirm cryptocurrency transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter transaction details into accounting systems and maintain organized financial records.
• Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling transaction records with blockchain data and internal financial systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on transaction activity, providing insights to senior accountants and management.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding transaction processes.
• Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on accounting regulations and compliance requirements relevant to cryptocurrency transactions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and compliance, to ensure cohesive transaction processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Basic understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
