Responsibilities
The Lufthansa Group Station Agent is responsible for:

• Take appropriate measures in case of volume, weight- and trim-critical flights
• Ensure safe and efficient turnaround operation (unloading / loading), with focus on the aircraft handling activities below the wing based on the respective airline manuals
• Calculate and issue tickets incl. re-issues, depending on local set-up in cooperation with RBCs
• Carry out all check-in and gate/boarding procedures in accordance with the appropriate guidelines and airline manuals
• File and handle Passenger and Baggage irregularity reports (AHL, DPR, OHD) in accordance with the appropriate guidelines and airline manuals
• Provide information and assistance in connection with all customer concerns during normal operation and irregularities
• Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
The ideal Lufthansa Group Station Agent should meet the following requirements:

• Candidates should possess a High School Degree
• Vocational training desirable
• 1-3 years of working experience desirable
• Fluent knowledge of English language, both spoken and written
• Good general education
• Driving license
• PC skills
• Diligent and systematic approach to work
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Desire to give excellent service
• Sales skills, confident manner
• Ability to make ad-hoc decisions
• Suitable for shift work
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to deal with conflict
• Good sociable and cooperative conduct
• Team player
• Well-groomed appearance
• Good linguistic skills
• Work under time pressure
• No permanently assigned work station
• Weather factors and noise pollution
• Lifting of luggage up to 23kg/70lb
• Most possess a legal work permit in Nigeria
• Must be willing to work shifts.
