Vacancies in a Reputable Maritime Company (5 Positions)

Our Company, one of the foremost stakeholders in the Maritime industry, has vacancies for resourceful and dynamic manpower in the following categories:

1.) Mechanical Engineer
Responsible for: Maintenance and repair of the Company's cargo handling equipment (Forklifts, Pay Loaders, Trucks, Hoppers) and other vehicles.

Job Specification
BSc /HND Mechanical Engineering (Automobile), with a minimum of ten years post qualification experience in Heavy Duty equipment maintenance.

2.) Electrical Engineer
Responsible for: Maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment, Terminal lighting and wiring.

Jon Specification
BSc/HND Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of five years post qualification cognate experience.

3.) Secretary to the Managing Director
Responsible for: typing and despatch of MDs correspondence, speech writing, record keeping, manage MD's visitors, manage MD's itinery.

Job Specification
BA English/Literary Studies, HND Secretariat Studies with minimum of 3 years cognate experience.

4.) HSE Officer
Reports to the Head of HSE Department and responsible for:

• Reporting accidents and near misses.
• Identification of unsafe conditions and acts, with a view to addressing them. Ensuring the positioning and maintenance of safety signages in all the operational areas.
• Assisting in creating environmental, Iea1th and safety awareness among staff

Job Specification
BSc./HND in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related discipline with minimum of 3 years cognate experience in the field

5.) Financial Accountant
Reports to the Head of Finance Department and responsible for:

• Financial services: Statutory accounting, Month end reporting, Payroll accounting, Management accounts, Cash flow forecast, Reconciliation of accounts and Analysis of Financial Statements.
• Liaising with third parties such as Tax authorities, Banks, External Auditors etc.

Job Specification

• BSc/HND in Accounting with newly obtained ICAN certification.
• Must have a minimum of two years cognate experience in a similar position.
• Must be skilled in Accounting and Microsoft IT packages.
