We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Software Engineer (Instructor)

Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver effective teaching on the IT courses as assigned by the institute
• Provide hands-on training and real-world examples to enhance learning experiences.
• Offer guidance, mentorship, and support to students throughout their learning journey.
• Engage and Inspire Students by creating a motivating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
• Regularly asses and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, quizzes and exams.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate them into teaching materials and sessions

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or OND in Computer Science, IT, or any related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience or equivalent industry experience in software Engineering etc.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and teach them effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management skill.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Programming Languages and Front-End tools such as Java, Python, C, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Competence in the software development frameworks and tools such as React, Spring, Django, etc.
• Experience in database management and design e.g. Ms SQL, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.
• Knowledge of Data Analysis is an added advantage.
