Job Title: Laundry Floor Attendant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Laundry Floor Attendant shall be attentive to support the functions of the company and the needs of our customers.
• The Laundry Floor Attendant shall use various techniques to clean customer’s clothes and support the operations of the company.
• The various shall include, spotting, cleaning and folding of laundry as needed.

Job Responsibilities
The Floor Attendant shall be responsible for the following:

• Handle all drop off.
• Sort clothing according to colours, texture, type, and fill the Drop-off Form.
• Take the Drop-off Form to the Front Office for billing.
• Wait for the Front Office to confirm payment and give directive to go ahead with the drop-off and also assign him/her the wash.
• Wash, dry and fold the laundry as required.
• Remove stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
• Monitor and track assigned laundry to avoid mix-up or loss of customers’ clothing/items.
• Maintain laundry equipment by notifying the necessary authority about damages or changes with the machines.
• Anticipate and respond to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of SSCE certificate.
• Must have 2-5 years of proven work experience as a Laundry Floor Attendant in a laundry or drycleaning outfit.
• Customer service attitude

Knowledge:

• In-depth industry and market knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of textiles and best way of washing
• Adequate laundry knowledge
