Job Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Accountant with specialised knowledge in hospitality accounting.
• The ideal candidate will track and manage costs related to food and operations, using data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making.
• You will leverage data analytics tools to interpret financial data, identify cost trends, and provide actionable reports to support business goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse the cost of menu items, ensuring optimal pricing for profitability.
• Use data analytics tools to generate comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports to support decision-making.
• Analyse inventory data, identifying patterns and trends to optimise inventory levels and reduce waste.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to calculate and analyse the cost of individual menu items.
• Perform cost variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and projected costs, recommending actions to improve cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee daily cash inflows and outflows.
• Assist with audit processes by ensuring all financial data and cost management records are up-to-date and readily available.

Qualifications

• Education: HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in the hospitality industry.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of data analytics tools.
• Expertise in food cost management, inventory control, and variance analysis.
• Ability to present complex financial data in clear, visual formats for decision-making.
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 Gross Monthly.
