Job Title: Head Waitress

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

• Our client is seeking to hire an experienced Head Waitress to oversee our dining room staff and ensure exceptional service for our guests.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of waitstaff and ensure high-quality service standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate waitstaff, providing feedback to enhance performance.
• Manage reservations and guest seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including specials, ingredients, and wine pairings.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of dining supplies and report shortages.
• Prepare and maintain daily service reports and feedback forms.
• Assist in planning and executing special events or promotions.

Requirements

• OND  or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality management is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
