Job Title: Plumbing Technician

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary 

• We are in search of an experienced Plumbing Technician to join our Facility Maintenance team. He will be in charge of installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems, plumbing fixtures, and equipment such as water heaters, boilers, sewage and sanitation systems.
• The successful candidate will work in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, ensuring all plumbing systems are functional, efficient, and compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.
• Assemble and install valves, fittings, and piping systems based on building plans and blueprints.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or faulty pipes in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Test systems and equipment for leaks or other issues using gauges, tools, and specialized equipment.
• Perform pressure tests and other procedures to ensure the safety and durability of plumbing systems.

Qualifications:

• SSCE/OND, Vocational training or certification in tiling or masonry is an advantage.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Plumber
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
