Job Title: Electrical Technician

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• The company is seeking to hire a professional Electrical Technician who will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to manage projects of any size.
• Must be able to interface with clients, building contractors, etc.
• Must be able to manage the safety of equipment and plant.
• Supervise electrical testing.
• Mark installed drawings, fuse board charts, etc.
• Report changes, variations, and site changes to the project manager.
• Maintain an organized site office, including paperwork.
• Be involved in material delivery, including medium-term planning.
• Order needed materials through the project manager.

OHS Responsibilities:

• Always prioritize safety, wear protective gear, and use tools correctly.
• Report hazards.
• Be familiar with emergency exits and equipment.
• Help create a safe work environment.

Key Requirements

• A degree, diploma, or relevant certifications in Electrical or a related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Knowledge of all tools and materials relevant to the Electrical trade.
• Knowledge of project management principles.

Benefits

• Between N691.35 - N1,154.95 per hour (before applicable deductions) based on Job grade/level.
