Job Title: Electrical Field Engineer

Job Summary

• The Electrical Field Engineer will lead and supervise electrical installation and maintenance projects, ensuring that electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for various projects, including onshore and offshore facilities.
• Plan and execute modifications and upgrades to existing electrical systems to improve performance, reliability, and safety.
• Troubleshoot electrical system malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions to restore functionality and prevent recurrence.
• Supervise and mentor a team of electrical technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in the oil and gas industry.
• Professional Engineer registration with COREN is required.
• Industrial electrical certifications (e.g., IECEx, CompEx) are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
