We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lab Chemist

Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities  

• Develop manufacturing processes that minimize waste and increase the quality of finished products.  
• Collaborate with engineering teams to scale up lab processes to full production level.  
• Test the final product for chemical composition, such as impurities and the presence of unwanted elements.  
• Ensure all processes comply with environmental regulations and industry standards.  
• Ensure product quality meets company standards and regulatory requirements.  
• Conduct research to develop new products or improve existing ones.  
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in chemical engineering and apply them to industrial processes.  
• Document and maintain records for regulatory compliance.

Requirements and Skills

• HND / B.Eng Degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry; a master degree is an asset.
• Proven work experience as a Lab Chemist or similar role in a mining industry.
• Strong understanding of chemical processing, laboratory safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with lab equipment and chemical analysis software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
