Job Description

• A sales representative's job is to interact with customers throughout the sales process to identify their needs, pitch products and services, and close deals.
• They work in a variety of industries, including retail, technology, finance, healthcare, and food and beverage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate leads: Find new customers and convert them into sales.
• Build relationships: Maintain relationships with existing customers and build new ones.
• Educate customers: Explain the features and benefits of products and services.
• Negotiate: Negotiate prices and terms, and prepare sales agreements.
• Close deals: Ensure customers have a positive experience and close the sale.
• Collaborate: Work with colleagues across different sectors.
• Conduct research: Conduct market research and attend conferences to understand industry trends.
• Prepare documentation: Prepare reports, proposals, and other documentation for presentations.
• Resolve issues: Resolve customer complaints, returns, price changes, and discounts.

Requirements

• Sales representatives should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to adapt to new challenges.
• They should also be self-driven, focused on achieving sales targets, and have a proven track record in sales.
• A high school diploma is typically the minimum educational requirement, prefer a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
