Job Summary

• Our Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Manager to oversee and coordinate various events, from concept to completion.
• This role requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• The ideal candidate will not only have a proven track record in event management but also be adept at leveraging social media platforms to promote events and engage attendees.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Planning and Execution: Lead all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, vendor selection, logistics coordination, and timeline management to ensure seamless events.
• Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, providing creative ideas, and ensuring their vision is executed.
• Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate event staff, vendors, and volunteers, ensuring they are aligned with event objectives and timelines.
• Social Media Engagement: Utilize social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) to promote upcoming events, create excitement, and engage with audiences before, during, and after events.
• Onsite Event Management: Oversee all event activities onsite, including setup, live coordination, and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues in real-time.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and track expenses to maintain financial goals.
• Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and gather insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, preferably within the hospitality sector.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in social media marketing and engagement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with event management software is a plus.
