Job Overview

• The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the face of the clinic, providing a warm and welcoming experience for every patient. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments, optimizing the daily schedule for maximum efficiency.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and address patient questions about services, billing, or appointments.
• Collect and update patient information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Process billing and payments, and assist patients with insurance queries.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a professional appearance.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.
• Handle patient complaints or concerns tactfully and escalate when necessary.

Requirements

• HND or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or customer service is a plus.
• Proven experience as a receptionist, customer service representative, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with dental management software (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
