Job Title: Hydra Operator

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Hydra Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a Hydra crane, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• The Hydra Operator will be responsible for safely lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment as needed for construction and operational projects.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate the Hydra crane for lifting and moving materials, equipment, and other heavy objects as directed.
• Load and Unload: Accurately position loads, ensuring they are secure and balanced according to weight limits and safety standards.
• Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct daily pre- and post-operation checks to ensure the crane is in safe operating condition; report any mechanical issues or defects to maintenance personnel.
• Safety Compliance: Follow company and industry safety standards and protocols during all crane operations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Site Coordination: Communicate with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to coordinate efficient loading and unloading.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, inspections, and operational logs as required by company procedures.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address operational challenges, such as difficult terrain or weather conditions, to ensure safe handling of materials.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 yearsof experience operating a Hydra crane or similar equipment in [relevant industries, e.g., construction, logistics, etc.].
• Certification: Valid Hydra crane operator certification or license, if required by local regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in challenging environments, including exposure to outdoor weather and the physical demands of operating heavy machinery.

Skills:

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and crane mechanics.
• Understanding of load charts and weight capacities.
• Ability to assess and manage operational risks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with different types of cranes or lifting equipment.
• Additional certifications in safety training, rigging, or equipment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and repairs for Hydra cranes.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 Monthly.
