Specific Duties & Responsibilities
With technical oversight from the state and central office technical staff and collaboration with StateProgram management, the Pharmaceutical Services Assistant shall provide support and share responsibility in the following:

• Assist in managing the dispensing aspects of the HIV care and treatment program
• Assist in implementing plans and activities in concordance with the Government of Nigeria’s guidelines/standards atall healthcare facilities supported by the organization
• Assist in tracking, monitoring, and conducting inventory analysis of all pharmacy stock employing the use of monitoring tools, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Assist inperiodic of support to medical, nursing, and counseling staff at sites supported by the HIV care and treatment program.
• Collate, prepare and submit periodic progress reports on pharmaceutical and logistics services from the sites supported to the implementation the HIV care and treatment program.
• Assist in periodic training of pharmacy, medical, nursing, and counseling staff at sites supported by the HIV care and treatment program.
• Prepare and submit periodic progress reports on pharmaceutical and logistics services from the sites supported to the implementation the HIV care and treatment program.
• Perform any other duties assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or other relevant field with prior experience in pharmaceutical services delivery and supply chain management
• At least 2 years experience in related programming in developing countries.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical service delivery, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic Logistic Management Information Systems e.g. NHLMIS, CMM, and POC-NMRS applications.
• Proficiency in MS Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other Office packages.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrable ability to develop written reports for decision-making.
• Knowledge of the local language will be an asset.
