Taghini Foods is a traditional poultry processing Company based in Ibadan. We supply fresh and frozen poultry products to wholesalers, caterers and further processors, including products suitable for Halal customers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Control Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilties

• Assist in reconciliation of stock at the front ends.
• Physical verification of supplies from suppliers of consumables, perishables materials to central store and maintenance parts to the Maintenance Department.
• Assist in audit of Product Transfer Note 9 (PTN) in comparison with Product Movement Form (PMF).
• Assist in monthly stock taking exercise at the central store and other warehouse.
• Assist in periodic tools, equipment, and asset verification.
• Assist in physical verification and documentation of out-bound goods.
• Assist in audit an shipping document in comparison with invoices and Trade Receivable Account.
• Assist to enforce and monitor compliance to agreed business processes and procedures as laid down by management. This will involve pre, during, and post process/transaction reviews.
• Provide internal surveillance oversight within the Organization.
• Ensure adherence to Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards and Company Policies.
• Comply with company relevant policies and regulations
• Adhere to all company health & safety procedures.
• Work alongside other Internal Control team to achieve the best business performance.
• Work alongside other Internal Control team to achieve the best business performance.
• Work with Inventory Officer to continuously improve stock performance.
• Wok with receivable Accountant to ensure compliance with sales credit policy.
• Ensure records are up to date with 100% accuracy of information recorded.
• Ensure report of any suspicious movement or strange occurrence within and around the business premises.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree / HND in any relevant field with 3-5 years work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities to completion with tight timelines
