UNILAG Consult was established by the Governing Council of the University of Lagos in July 1983 and was registered under the Business Names Act of 1961 in 1984. However, it was incorporated as a Limited Liability Company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 in 2013. As the consulting arm of the University of Lagos, it stands as Nigeria's premier provider of high-quality research-driven human capital, leadership and developmental solutions.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Managing Director

Location: Lagos

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• For the position, the Board seeks a transformative visionary leader with high levels of integrity, competence in strategic job planning and organization, a deep commitment to innovation and proven experience in driving organizational success within the consulting, training and human capital development sectors.
• The Managing Director will oversee all strategic operational and financial aspects of UNILAG Consult, ensuring alignment with the mission and values of the University of Lagos while fostering impactful partnerships and sustaining UNILAG Consult's legacy of excellence.

Requirements

• Candidates for the post of Managing Director must possess a minimum of Masters' Degree from a recognized University, professional qualification, and Membership of relevant professional bodies.
• Minimum of ten (10) years' work experience with at least five (5) years in strategic planning, business development and operational management.
• Candidates from the academia must not be below the rank of a professor.
• Candidate must not be above 55 years of age.

Remuneration
UNILAG Consult is a self-sustaining commercial outfit and the remuneration for the Managing Director is competitive and negotiable. It is also based on achieving targets and goals.
