Description 

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Volunteer WordPress Administrator/Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in WordPress administration and web development, coupled with strong skills in PHP, CSS, and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Maintenance: Manage, update, and maintain the organization's WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
• Web Development: Develop, test, and deploy custom WordPress themes, plugins, and features tailored to organizational needs.
• Customization: Implement front-end and back-end changes using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript to meet specific design and functional requirements.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve website issues, including performance, compatibility, and security concerns.
• Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and scalability to enhance user engagement and visibility.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the content, design, and marketing teams to align website functionality with organizational goals.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of development processes, plugins, and configurations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in WordPress administration and web development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with MySQL, HTML5, and responsive design principles is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Tools: Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins (e.g., Elementor, WooCommerce, Yoast SEO) and development tools.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to deliver high-quality, bug-free code.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
