Job Overview

• Concorde is seeking skilled and reliable Dispatch Riders and Drivers to support the transportation and delivery of goods to our customers.
• The ideal candidates will ensure timely deliveries, maintain the safety of goods in transit, and uphold excellent customer service standards.
• Both roles are critical in ensuring efficient logistics operations while maintaining road safety and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
For Dispatch Riders:

• Pick up and deliver parcels and documents promptly to assigned locations using motorcycles.
• Verify delivery details, including the recipient's address and contact information.
• Ensure the safe handling and proper documentation of all deliveries.
• Maintain the assigned motorcycle, ensuring it is in good working condition through regular servicing and reporting mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow traffic rules and safety regulations while riding.
• Communicate delivery updates or delays to the Logistics Supervisor.

For Drivers:

• Transport goods, equipment, or personnel safely to designated locations using company vehicles.
• Ensure goods are loaded securely and delivered without damage.
• Conduct routine checks on the assigned vehicle, including oil, water, brakes, and tyres, and report any maintenance needs.
• Keep records of travel logs, fuel usage, and delivery schedules.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods when necessary.
• Adhere to traffic laws and road safety regulations.

General Responsibilities for Both Roles

• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues.
• Follow all company policies and protocols regarding transportation and delivery.
• Report any incidents, delays, or delivery issues to the Logistics Supervisor promptly.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Requirements
For Dispatch Riders:

• Minimum of an SSCE certificate.
• A valid Rider’s Permit.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a dispatch rider in Lagos or other major cities.
• Familiarity with Lagos roads and traffic patterns.
• Ability to ride safely and maintain focus in busy environments.

For Drivers:

• Minimum of an SSCE certificate.
• A valid Driver’s License and LASDRI card.
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a driver, preferably in logistics or delivery services.
• Knowledge of Lagos routes and interstate roads.
• Ability to drive various vehicle types (cars, vans, or light trucks).

General Requirements for Both Roles:

• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Basic understanding of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Good physical condition to handle long hours on the road.

Work Hours:

• Full-time, Monday – Saturday, with flexible hours depending on delivery schedules.
