Job Title: Accountant (Manufacturing background, preferable from Natural stones or Tiles industry)

Location: Ajaokuta, Kogi

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer with a strong background in the manufacturing industry, preferably within the natural stone or tile sector.
• The ideal candidate will manage financial processes, including GRN costing, bill processing, journal entries, and cost analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
GRN Costing Process:

• Oversee Goods Receipt Note (GRN) costing for raw materials (RM), ensuring accuracy and alignment with procurement policies.

Purchase Bill Processing:

• Verify and process purchase bills, maintaining proper documentation and reconciling discrepancies.

Service Bill Processing:

• Manage service-related invoices, ensuring timely approval and payment in compliance with company policies.

Journal Entries:

• Prepare and process journal entries for various transactions, ensuring alignment with accounting standards.

Employee Benefits Processing:

• Handle employee benefit claims, reimbursements, and related financial transactions in a timely manner.

Bank Transactions:
Monitor and reconcile bank transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records and timely execution of payments.
Cash Transactions:

• Manage cash flow, record petty cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash management practices.

Costing:

• Perform cost analysis and maintain accurate costing records for raw materials, production, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize cost efficiencies.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in the natural stone or tiles industry is highly preferred.
• ICAN Certification (Mandatory).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 / month.
