Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and user stories.
• Manual & Automated Testing: Conduct manual testing and implement automated test cases to ensure software quality and stability.
• Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using a bug-tracking system. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Regression Testing: Perform regression tests to validate fixes and enhancements across various software versions.
• Performance & Load Testing: Assess software performance under load and stress conditions, identifying any potential bottlenecks.
• Test Environment Management: Set up, maintain, and manage test environments for various projects.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that software meets quality standards and complies with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to clarify requirements and provide feedback on user experience.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in software testing, QA, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Proficiency in using bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for writing automated tests is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
