Description 

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced English tutor to provide instruction to adult learners in our adult education program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to helping students improve their English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of adult learners.
• Teach a variety of English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Utilize a range of teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation.
• Assess students' progress regularly through quizzes, tests, and other evaluation methods.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to the development and revision of curriculum materials.
• Stay updated on best practices in adult education and English language teaching.
• Offer individual and group tutoring to address specific student needs.
• Provide guidance and support to help students overcome learning challenges.
• Foster a sense of community among students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English to adult learners.
• Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, and usage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and pace instruction accordingly.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
