We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Experienced Operator

Location: Offshore, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Main Functions

• Operate and monitor production systems, including separators, pumps, compressors, and other production equipment.
• Perform routine checks on process systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Execute startup and shutdown procedures for the processing units in line with operational plans.
• Respond to alarms, and make adjustments to maintain process stability and prevent equipment failure.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to coordinate equipment repairs and shutdowns for routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs of operations, equipment performance, and production output.

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
• Offshore safety certification (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
• Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and systems in the oil and gas industry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Knowledge of offshore safety and emergency procedures.
• Strong communication skills for reporting operational status and issues to team members and supervisors.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as an operator, preferably in offshore production operations (FPSO, oil rigs, or similar environments).
