Job Title: Physics Teacher

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive physics lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum and instructional guidelines.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic achievement.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and interdisciplinary projects.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of physics and incorporate relevant technologies and resources into the curriculum.
• Actively engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
• Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians to promote open communication and a positive school-home partnership.

Requirements

• A strong practicing Spirit-filled Christian, with a deep commitment to Christian values and principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching physics at the secondary school level.
• Deep knowledge of physics concepts, theories, and laboratory practices.
• Passion for education and a genuine interest in inspiring students to pursue scientific inquiry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports academic growth and personal development.
• Proficiency in integrating technology and multimedia resources into teaching and learning.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest pedagogical approaches and scientific advancements.
