They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Associate

Location: Ososa, Ogun

Job Summary

• It is currently scaling up its operations with increase in its fleet size and aims to fill several operational roles including the role of a Trainee Associate or Associate (Associate) in its Finance function.
• The intended Associate will play a key role in providing core Finance at the Ososa Business Location.
• The Associate will be ably guided on the core objectives of the Company, leaving him or her to use sheer intelligence, grit and focus to solve the conventional Finance, Procurement and Accounting challenges of the Company.

Job Description
The successful Associate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that all bills are sent to the client latest by the 5th day of the new month;
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis;
• Working with the clients’ logistics team, finance team and other stake holders to ensure that all billing processes are followed and completed swiftly;
• Maintaining and updating the payroll schedule for the company
• Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and presenting them to the management in HQ;
• Implementing internal control measures to ensure that funds appropraite management of the disbursed funds;
• Efficiently managing the procurement process including vendor and credit management;
• Identifying and implementing processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline (professional qualifications will be an added advantage)
• 3+ years of experience finance or a related discipline (experience in the logistics or transportation industry or professional services sector will be an added advantage)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint (proficiency in Power BI will be an added advantage)
• Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations and practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
