We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales / Marketing Officer

Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We seek a passionate and results-driven Sales/Marketing Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies and ensure that all operations successfully meet the goals set by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns, including those on social media and search engines.
  • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
  • Conduct market research on rival products and analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Identify, target, and convert potential customers into long-term clients.
  • Prospect clients through networking and cold calling.
  • Conduct client presentations and needs assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Create and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Track and achieve sales targets to ensure the company meets its sales quotas.
  • Oversee daily sales activities, adheres to best practices and meets performance metrics.
  • Prepare, review, and manage contractual agreements with clients.
  • Create, analyze, and present monthly sales performance reports on time.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in a marketing and sales role; experience with startups is an advantage.
  • BSc or HND in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with strong deal-closing abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong client management, negotiation, numerical and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Exceptional customer service skills, along with analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on insights.
