Job Title: Security Man

Location: Badagry, Lagos

Job Description

• The Security Manis responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, visitors, and assets.
• This includes monitoring activities, deterring unauthorized access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities
Access Control

• Monitor and control entry and exit points for staff, visitors, and vehicles.
• Verify identification and credentials where necessary.

Surveillance

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems and alarms for unusual activities.

Incident Response

• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
• Report and document incidents accurately, including thefts, intrusions, or property damage.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

Safety Enforcement

• Ensure compliance with company safety and security policies.
• Conduct routine checks of locks, alarms, fire extinguishers, and other security equipment.

Customer Service

• Provide assistance and directions to employees and visitors in a professional manner.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude at all times.

Risk Mitigation

• Identify potential security risks and recommend improvements.
• Assist with crowd control during events or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong observational and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and act swiftly in emergencies.
