Job Description

• The Vice President, Operations will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of our metering services.
• This position requires a strategic leader who can ensure efficient operations while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals stationed across Nigeria, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Conduct performance reviews and provide guidance for professional development.
• Project Management: Oversee large-scale metering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget. Monitor project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Strategic Operations Management: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s objectives. Enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in meter installation, maintenance, and customer service.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Build and maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers. Ensure required Regulatory filings are done on time.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with national regulations and international best practices. Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards in meter provisioning and customer service.
• Financial Oversight: Manage operational budget and resources effectively. Provide regular reports on operational performance and financial metrics to the executive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in the energy sector, particularly in electricity metering or related fields is preferred. Working knowledge of the Nigerian Financial landscape is required. 
• Strong understanding of Nigerian electricity regulations and metering policies.
• Proven track record in project management and team leadership.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
